Ingredients:
- 2.5 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 large flour tortilla
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 0.5 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, briskly stir the softened cream cheese, honey, and cinnamon until the mixture is velvety and uniform.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface of one side of the tortilla, ensuring it reaches the very edges to act as a sealant.
- Place the blueberries on one half of the tortilla. Gently press down on the berries with the back of a spoon to slightly bruise them.
- Fold the tortilla in half over the filling.
- Melt the butter in a 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the quesadilla in the pan and sear for approximately 1.5 minutes per side until the exterior is mahogany-colored and crisp, and the berries have reached their bursting point.
